- Use Windfury Weapon on both of your weapons. Imbue the Shaman's weapon with wind. Each hit has a 20% chance of granting you 2 extra attacks with 104 extra melee attack power. When applied to main hand, disables any benefit you personally receive from Windfury Totem. Lasts for 60 minutes.
- Maintain Strength of Earth Totem , Mana Spring Totem , Searing Totem , and either Windfury Totem or Grace of Air Totem via Call of the Elements . Summons a Strength of Earth Totem with 5 health at the feet of the caster. The totem increases the strength of party members within 30 yards by 7. Lasts 5 min.
- Cast Rage of the Farseer with any on-use effects. Increases your melee attack speed and spell casting speed by 30% for 25 sec.
- Cast Lightning Bolt at 5 stacks of Maelstrom Weapon . Casts a bolt of lightning at the target for 15 to 17 Nature damage.
- Cast Stormstrike . Instantly strike for normal weapon damage and increase the damage you deal to the target with your next Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, or Earth Shock spell by 20% for 12 sec.
- Cast Flame Shock or Earth Shock . If the target has the Flame Shock DoT, prioritize Earth Shock . Instantly sears the target with fire, causing 24 Fire damage immediately and 28 Fire damage over 12 sec.

In the Enhancement tree
- Maelstrom WeaponMelee hits reduce the cast time of your next spell, finally connecting Enhancement's melee and casting halves instead of leaving them separate.
- Enhancement can tankSpirit Weapons raises threat while Rockbiter is active and lowers it without, and other talents add parry and threat generation. There is no separate tank spec, but the support is deliberate.
- Improved StormstrikeA chance to reset Stormstrike's cooldown on dodge or parry, which pushes further toward defensive melee builds.
Elsewhere in Shaman
- Shamans are no longer Horde-onlyDwarves can play Shaman for the first time, and Horde-aligned Skyborne join the existing roster. This is the largest identity change the class has had since Vanilla.
- Lava BurstElemental gains a Fire nuke that interacts with Flame Shock, giving the tree a hard-hitting button it never had.
